Another gun blog!

Well Chris just put up a blog about the only video game that I play so I can’t say much about that.

The other things that interest me are the outdoors... and shooting sports. So I’ve been looking at a lot of different guns and mod’s for the guns I have like the Ruger 10/22.
That is a .22 cal semi-automatic rifle. The Ruger probably has the most after market upgrade available than any other guns.

Well I work at the gun counter at my local sporting store called The Sports Authority. After about a week there I was looking up some guns and thier functions and price ranges when I fell into a sks forum called sksboards.com. I spent the next hour looking at the guns and found that like thier son that repaced them(ak47) they were actually cool. But as many of you know Ammo prices can realy rain on your party! So I googled ammo for it 7.62x39 and found that all the of the bigger gun store have military surplus at thier stores in dry seal ammo cans, and best of all it wasnt that bad of a price.

Well as I was doing this little bit of research my buddy nate was sitting next to me and said,
Ive got a few of those got 'em for like 65 bucks a peace a few years ago... do you want me to see if my mom will let you buy one...
Yeah! hello right now go find out!!!.... Well she didnt want to sell any of the families guns, she (and the rest of the normal world) are scared out of thier minds about obama and all of his ideas about CHANGE that he sold you suckers on to get him the election, will make it so expensive to shoot guns that shooting sports and hunting will become a thing of the past and guns will be high priced collector items, until the whole country is at war and you realy need those guns to defend you and yours!

So anyway my freinds told me to go eat dirt in a nice way. I still plan on getting a sks for my self they look like the classic military rifle but you can deck them out to look like a modern assault rifle!

Well it’s been an interesting few months. I took time off in October to go and see Chris and Lacey, and guess what? I aint been back to work since then. Yep been out of work for about two months now. I don’t get it man, when I was in high school I could just wink and have another job! But I guess people think twice about hiring an adult with bills, they must be afraid of what they will have to pay you or something I don’t Know.

I mean don’t get me wrong sitting around the house all day hanging out with friends playing video games and watching movies, staying up all night it rocks its fantastic I love it! But then the bank calls and the phone company calls and the credit card people start calling its like hello I don’t have a job here people give me a break!!!

If I can’t get a job in the next week 11/09-11/16 I’m moving to Oklahoma and that’s that.
I don’t know if ill be able to find a job that’s better there but its worth a try so move over Coleman I’m coming to stay and that’s all there is to it! Oh and Nate might be coming too so we might just have to sleep in the car until we can get our own place, but it will totally be worth it!!

On The Road Again

Well folks it’s been real nice down here in Oklahoma, but I need to get back to the real life. Not that I want to go back to work and continue a life of responsibility, that’s just how it is in life.
I can’t quite tell you what was the most fun, because there was a lot of really cool stuff.
There is this awesome BBQ place called Vans Pig Stand, Oh my word, let me tell you, they had the biggest, juiciest, tender ribs I’ve ever had in my whole life, and the flavor was to die for!

The sky out here is cool as well. This is the flattest place I’ve ever been so the sky looked like it went on forever. The way that the storms roll in is so amazing! In Utah the clouds slowly gather at the base of the canyons until we have a storm, in Oklahoma the wind starts to blow and the clouds gather on the flat lands and create what was called a wall cloud. These wall clouds might be the most intimidating things on the face of the planet, leaving nothing but a mass of black empty despair in its wake, it was as if every time it rained there was a tornado (which of course there wasn’t but it looked that way).

I went to a Purcell a small town near the center of OK. And watched a high school home coming game, most of Chris’ family went to this school so it was pretty intense, it was like the whole town showed up, like Friday Night Lights, but on a smaller scale but not much, it was awesome!

Oh and if the drive down here wasn’t bad enough there is a big storm coming and we have to take a detour to miss it and that will add time to our trip, like 2 hours or so I’m told.

I don’t want to leave, its been really fun but I do miss my dog and some of my friends(aka: queen size bed, 32 high-def flat screen, my truck and gunz) oh and Nate ya you too!

So the only reason that this blog is even on the web can be blamed on my sister Lacey, who lives in Oklahoma. My Mom and sister Kim planned a road trip to go and see Lacey, Yep in Oklahoma, but we live in Utah! You gotta be nuts to say "Hey lets go see Lacey!" its only 1300 miles or in my thinking (20 hours of non-stop driving, two girls who naturally are always right and the other is always wrong, a 4 month old baby, also a girl, and me, Landon, the only dude in the car, the back seat next to the baby mind you, just after surgery.) NO WAY! Then Kent, kims husband pipes up that the car has a built in dvd player and ports to hook up an X-Box... well that got me hook, line, and sinker, it was like christmas all over agian, in one hand I could stay home sit on my bed and play x-box for a few days and get cabin fever( I had been home doing just that for 4 days already) or I could get in the car play x-box, watch movies, see place's I'd never been and get to Oklahoma, supries my brother in-law, who would inevitably (much to lacey's dismay) play x-box with me all week... or so I thought. With the car loaded and all the people in my sister took off up the road, turned right back around because mom forgot her money! After a quick stop at the gas station to get some bevrages and some grindidge we were off on the road. So far so good, why not give the old x-box a try.....nothing happend....agian nothing... turns out the cars outlet for power didn't give enough juice to run an x-box, it was like an icey hand tore through my chest and ripped out my heart! But all is not lost we still have dvds right? No of course not we forgot to grab any from the house!!! Okay we can handle this it'll be over soon, ya 19 and a half hours aint bad, we'll be all right... 19 hours to go.... 18 and three quarters... 18 and a half... 18 and one quarter.... 18 hours and ten minuts OKAY, okay enough of this I cant do it any more, now for those of you who have ever had prescription pain meds you know that some can cause drowsyness and in the right amounts can make you sleep a long time... oh yeah my friends 10 hours of that trip kinda went out the window. Then all the sudden we were here pulling up to the apt. by O. U.. all in all I'm glad I got into the car, and now lacey can share with me her extreme knowledge of blogging and politics and child care... boy has it been fun, but realy it has. I'll keep you posted throught the trip and let you know more about my life in blogs to come.
